Devotions to the Blessed Virgin Mary

Our Lady of Prayers

The Hail Mary:

Hail Mary full of grace! The Lord is with thee: Blessed art thou amongst women; and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary Mother of God. Pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored thy help or sought thy intersession, was left unaided.

Inspired with this confidence, I fly to thee, O Virgin of Virgins, my Mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful; O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy, hear and answer me. Amen.

Salve Regina:

Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, our life, our sweetness, and our hope! To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve; to thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn, then, most gracious Advocate, thine eyes of mercy towards us; and after this our exile show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus; O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary.

Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God, that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

Let us pray: Grant, we beseech Thee, O Lord God, unto us Thy servants, that we may rejoice in continual health of mind and body; and, by the glorious intercession of blessed Mary ever Virgin, may be delivered from present sadness, and enter into the joy of Thine eternal gladness. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

A Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary:

To you beloved Mother, and to your Immaculate Heart we give and Consecrate ourselves and the mystical Body of your Son, which suffers and bleeds in so many places and is afflicted in so many ways, along with the entire world torn by violent discord, scorched in a fire of hate, victim of its own iniquities. May our sacrifices and recitations of the rosary win the the grace of conversion for many souls and thus hasten the triumph of the Kingdom of your Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, in whose Name we pray. Amen.

Pray to Our Lady of Grace:

“O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to you.” This was the prayer you showed St. Catherine Laboure, when you manifested yourself to her. We, too, are your children, committed to your care by your Son in His dying hour. Now that you are in Heaven, we pray that you continue your manifold intercession on our behalf and bring us the gifts of eternal salvation. Amen.
